MIDDLEGATE OUTING REPORT:  by Chas Moser

As usual there was a big turnout of riders with several rides going out each day. The local TBSA contingent included Robin & Glenda, Keith & Vicki, Chas, and of course Nevin. Most of the TBSA folks arrived Wednesday PM. Chas arrived midday on Wednesday and was greeted with a spectacular caravan of classic Morgan sports cars which had stopped at the Middlegate Station for a temporary respite. Our usual Saturday prime rib dinner was rescheduled to Friday evening because Saturday had previously been set aside for a memorial spaghetti feed in honor of a Middlegate employee who had recently passed away.

The riding conditions were just about perfect with high temps in the low 80’s at camp and noticeably cooler at the higher riding elevations. Most of us rode on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Chas was a little “under the weather” on Saturday and unfortunately missed the last part of the ride up into the snow.
