PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE: by Paul Boettin

Hello again, everyone. I would like to start by again reminding members that our annual dues are due. Yes, it's that time of year. The club needs your support so we can continue to do some of the things we are doing. If you have not yet done so, now is the time. Your contribution is very much appreciated.

I was unable to attend the Packer Lake outing, but I've been told that both of Saturday’s rides were very long and treacherous. Hopefully someone will fill us in on the details. There were five rigs and a total of seven riders on Saturday. Le came up in the morning and spent the day in camp visiting with the ladies. I hope he brought peaches.

I would like to welcome our newest member Kirk Hilbert, who joined at the Packer Lake outing. Kirk, if you enjoy trail riding, I think you and your family will enjoy what this club has to offer. See you at Sweetwater.

As I just mentioned, our next outing is at Sweetwater. As most of you know, this is our most popular outing as evidenced by the number of people who attend each year. At the next meeting we will be planning and discussing some of the usual issues, such as the pancake breakfast, potluck, wine and ice cream socials, etc. So, if you would like to add your input to these or any other issues, please come and voice your opinion. It is always welcome.
